Adani Group aims to restart Formula 1 motor sport at Buddh Circuit

THE Adani Group is interested in restarting the Formula 1 motor sport at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida, Adani Cement MD Karan Adani said on Saturday.
The BIC was built and owned by the Jaypee Group (specifically Jaiprakash Associates Ltd (JAL)/ Jaypee Sports International Ltd). However, due to financial distress and nonpayment of dues, the land was took over by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) in 2019.
