US President Donald Trump is in Britain on his second official visit to the UK.
Aside from the pomp and circumstance of the occasion — scarlet-jacketed troops, gun salutes and that kind of thing — will there be any kind of input on critical strategic/military issues that have arisen?
Like the UK, the US is also a member of NATO. NATO countries in Europe are currently in a near-scramble to reorganise to counter potential threats from their close neighbours, Russia and Belarus.
Does the US share these concerns? It must surely be part of the conversation at a lower level when Trump gets to meet British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer as part of the programme.
