The tension was unbearable. Every pass felt heavy, every whistle suspicious, every decision magnified. This was not just a final. It was a contest of pride, history, and continental identity. Neither side wanted to be remembered as the loser.

When Morocco was awarded a late penalty, the atmosphere shifted instantly. Tempers flared. Players crowded the referee. The sense of injustice, real or perceived, overwhelmed reason. Then came a decision that stunned everyone watching. The Senegal coach ordered fis players to walk off the pitch and abandon the match.
