SA ranks 8th on list of world's most stressful countries for drivers

SOUTH Africa has been identified as one of the world’s most challenging countries for drivers, placing eighth in a global ranking of driving stress.

This is according to a recent study by Compare the Market AU which evaluated factors affecting driv-ing experience.
Among the factors contributing to this high-stress ranking are issues such as road safety concerns, including high theft rates and fatalities.
The study also highlights global trends, noting a dramatic increase in the number of searches for ‘road rage driving’, which have surged by over 100% in the last year.
