Daring cash heist on R617, suspects flee with money and firearms

POLICE in KwaZulu-Natal have launched a manhunt after a cash-in-transit (CIT) vehicle was robbed on Tuesday.
It was robbed along the R617 near the P27-1 Pevensey turnoff. No injuries were reported among the security personnel or members of the public.
KwaZulu-Natal SAPS spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda confirmed that detectives are investigating a case of cash-in-transit robbery.
