READERS might be wondering how the damsels of the Pub With No Name, in Morningside, reacted to the seesaw of fortunes in the world of sport last weekend.

I consulted Frilly Milly, who is prominent in the gals' knicker-strumming activities and fashioning of catapults for the streetlights. She confirms the seesaw analogy.
“The gals went crazy! We're not that much into cricket as a rule, but South Africa beating the Aussies at anything, even if it’s just down-downs with pints of beer, is cause for celebration.
“Yes, we supplied knicker elastic for catapults and celebrated by shooting out the streetlights the way we do when the Sharks win a rugby match.
“Then total shock as Leinster started chowing the Bulls. We couldn't believe it. The Bulls were so bad it was almost a comedy.
“To take our minds off it, we set up a few pints of Guinness and a bit of Irish whisky, then started a game of bok-bok in the bar.
