A “BREATHING” cap of magma is stopping a massive explosion in America, according to Sky News.
No, it’s not Donald Trump fighting down his displeasure at the activities of lefty students and staff at places like Harvard University; it's Yellowstone National Park.
The park sits on top of a huge pool of active magma, the scientists say, which causes bubbling mud pots and steaming geysers. (Mind you, that does sound a bit like Trump on a bad day.)
Geologists have discovered a cap of magma rich with volatiles, or dissolved gases, that can cause eruptions, just 3.8km below Yellowstone's surface.
