Call for increased intra-African travel as Travel Indaba kicks off in Durban

DEPUTY President Paul Mashatile has urged Africans to travel to countries on the continent in order to boost the tourism sector across regions.
Mashatile officially opened Africa's Travel Indaba at the Durban ICC yesterday.
He invoked the spirit of African unity and history, linking the continent's liberation legacy to its tourism renaissance.
"Africa's attractions and influx of tourists also means that our continent is an important part of the world's economy, politics, growth, and humanity," said Mashatile.
