Last summer, Ellen Williams, a structural engineer, decided she needed a change. "I had very much followed the traditional route of studying for a degree and working my way up the ladder. I had a great job, but it wasn't my passion." After discovering Pilates and instantly falling in love with it, Ellen decided to turn it into a career, retraining with London Pilates Academy to become a Pilates teacher. She's now in the process of opening her own studio, The Pilates Cloud, in Bromley. "I'm looking forward to waking up every day and doing something that excites me. Having practised Pilates for such a long time, I know first-hand the positive impact it's had on me mentally and physically. Being able to do something that can help other people is hugely rewarding," she says.
