Youngsters sign up for Academy

SUNDERLAND AFC have drafted in their latest cohort of U9 players to the Academy of Light.

The new batch have signed on and it marks the next step in their football journey, following their progress through the club's pre-development programme.

The exciting young group has now become part of the Sunderland Academy set-up, following in the footsteps of homegrown talents such as Dan Neil, Chris Rigg, and Anthony Patterson - all of whom began their Black Cats careers at the very same age.
