ALEXANDER Isak has refused to open up on his explosive exit from Newcastle United by insisting that it is a "closed chapter" in his career.

- DANIEL ORME

The Sweden forward sealed a record-breaking £130m switch to Liverpool from St James' Park on deadline day.

The transfer came after Isak had publicly expressed his desire to leave Newcastle.

He also trained away from his teammates throughout the summer, with Newcastle chiefs eventually striking a deal with their Liverpool counterparts. Isak made his first appearance of the season on Monday night as Sweden fell to a 2-0 defeat to Kosovo - a game in which he was booed by the crowd.
