WITH Sunderland's Premier League campaign on the horizon, Regis Le Bris’ side head across the continent for their final away preseason outing before facing Spanish opposition once again the following day at the Stadium of Light.

Topflight German opposition provide the latest test at FC Augsburg on tomorrow afternoon, before Rayo Vallecano head to Wearside.

FC Augsburg produced a stellar campaign in the Bundesliga last season, finishing 12th with a record of 11 wins, 10 draws and 13 defeats from 34 games.

Fuggerstädter are heading into their 15th consecutive season in the Bundesliga and are managed by Sandro Wagner who was appointed in 28th May 2025 in his first post as a head coach.

The 30,000 capacity stadium, Augsburg Arena is their home.
