HERE are no winners in the Newcastle City Council bullying probe, but plenty of people who have lost out.

Since the allegations of bullying by former council leader Nick Kemp were made by then council director Michelle Percy, both have left their jobs.

Coun Kemp has been cleared of bullying, although the investigation found that he “could certainly have conducted himself in a less confrontational and aggressive manner at times”.

Ms Percy will certainly be disappointed that her complaint was not upheld.
