Teens arrested after alleged hit-and-run

THREE teenagers have been arrested after an 11-year-old boy was seriously injured in a suspected hit-and-run.

At around 5.30pm on Tuesday, March 3, police were alerted to an injured pedestrian on Denton Road in Scotswood.
Emergency services attended after it was reported a boy had been struck by an electric Sur-Ron-style motorcycle before the rider had left the scene.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries including a broken leg. He continues to recover from his injuries.
