Teen caused £9k damage crashing car

AN uninsured teenage driver caused £9,000-worth of damage when he crashed into a parked car then fled the scene.

Kaab Ishaque was behind the wheel of a BMW, which wasn’t his, when he ploughed into a stationary vehicle on a street in Fenham.

The subsequent bang noise was so loud that it woke up the owner of the car that had been hit, a court was told.

When she later inspected her VW, she found that the entire passenger side had been damaged.
