SUNDERLAND head coach Regis Le Bris has taken time to reflect on a promising opening to the 2025-26 Premier League campaign.

Squad's connection has brought promising start

The Black Cats currently sit ninth in the table, having collected 11 points from their opening seven fixtures.

Le Bris’ side have kept three clean sheets and remain unbeaten at the Stadium of Light, showing strong progress in their return to the top flight.

That record will be tested when they host struggling Wolves on Saturday prior to a run of more difficult fixtures that will really define where Sunderland are among the game's elite.

“It's been a positive start to the season, winning 11 points from this short period,” Le Bris told safe.com.
