'She'll be deeply missed and never forgotten'

Aimee Wood

Aimee Wood, 16, passed away following an emergency at St Wilfrid's RC College in South Shields, South Tyneside, last month.

Police and paramedics, as well as the Great North Air Ambulance, were called to the secondary school just after 9.15am on December 18.

There were four ambulance vehicles at the scene as well as a police van.

The school initially said there had been a "medical emergency on site". Headteacher Catherine Lennox then confirmed that a student had died and the entire school community had been left deeply saddened.
