Tim Easterby’s Bungle Inthejun-gle filly is a full sister to Winter Power, also trained by Easterby for the same King Power connections, who was also a very speedy juvenile and won the Nunthorpe at three.

One of the most notable things about Winter Power was just how durable she was in her early days - she had nine races at two, so while winning the Nunthorpe at three is rare, she went there having had more races than many older horses.

It’s clear she improved with each and every start, not winning until her third outing, but by her eighth she was a Listed winner and her final juvenile start saw her strike gold in Group Three compam
