Rescue team mobilised to help injured hill walker

A WALKER who fell in the Cheviot Hills in Northumberland has been brought to safety by a mountain rescue team.

Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team (NNPMRT) shared details of the incident - which occurred on Cunyan Crags in the Breamish Valley.

A man, who was part of a walking group, had been injured. He was brought to safety in one of the team’s 4x4 vehicles after a rescue lasting just over three hours.
