Lambs Hill Wind Farm near Stockton, which has been sold
East renewables developer OnPath Energy has sealed a £112.9m deal to sell off seven onshore wind farms.The Sunderland company has sold the windfarms - all of which are in England to ERG, one of Europe's leading independent renewable energy producers.
The firm said it is now moving into the next stage of its growth strategy after completing the sale of the project portfolio, pointing to how it aims to invest around £1bn into clean energy projects across the UK by 2030 as part of its drive towards becoming the UK’s leading renewable energy developer.
The firm expects to bring forward several new development proposals in England this year and is now exploring a range of potential new developments locations across England, Scotland and Wales.
