Only a win will do for Moors as they seek play-off spot
The Journal
|April 26, 2025
SPENNYMOOR Town manager Graeme Lee has called on his side to focus on themselves as they look to defy the odds and secure a play-off place today.
-
The Moors head into a home game with Oxford City sitting in 10th place in the table and are just three points adrift of the play-offs.
Only a win will suffice and even that may not be enough if two of Hereford, Chorley, Curzon Ashton and Buxton claim wins in their own fixtures.
Despite the odds going against his side, Lee has urged his squad to stay true to the ways that have taken them into contention for a top-seven spot. He said: “That's what we speak about week-in, week-out. All we can affect is ourselves, what we do and how we do it.
