One taken to hospital after four-vehicle crash closes A1

ONE person was taken to hospital following a four-vehicle collision which caused the closure of the A1 in Northumberland.
-
Emergency services were called to the junction of the B6348 for Bellshill, south of Belford, shortly after 6.30pm on Tuesday evening.
The A1 was closed in both directions between the junction for the B6348 and the B6349 for Belford.
