McClaren quits after Jamaica fail

STEVE McClaren has resigned as manager of the Jamaica national team after they were beaten to automatic World Cup qualification by tiny Curacao.

The Dutch Caribbean island are the smallest nation by population to qualify for a World Cup after a goalless draw with Jamaica on the final day of Concacaf qualifying preserved their one-point advantage in the group.
