Man accused of bid to kill could stand trial this year

ATTEMPTED murder accused Adam Ahmed could stand trial later this year accused of trying to kill two men.

The pair were found seriously injured in a home on Roker Avenue, Sunderland, after a disturbance was reported on Saturday June 21.

Ahmed is accused of attempting to murder two men, one in his 40s and one in his 20s.

Police have described their injuries as being “consistent with being caused by a blade” Both men were taken to hospital
