Le Bris looks forward to 'new chapter in club's history'

PROUD Regis Le Bris has been reflecting on leading Sunderland AFC back to the Premier League.

He spoke of the powerful unity that made it possible after Tommy Watson’s late winner had realised a season's ambition.

Eliezer Mayenda had earlier levelled with his 15th goal contribution of the season, finishing confidently after being picked out by Patrick Roberts, cancelling out Tyrese Campbell's first-half opener.

The late turnaround stunned Wembley Stadium, and Le Bris admitted that everyone connected to the club should take immense pride in what has been achieved over the past 12 months, as a new chapter in the top flight begins.
