Hutchison returns to Red Bulls

CAMERON Hutchison has returned to Newcastle Red Bulls from Saracens, the centre signing a deal until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old spent two seasons at Kingston Park after joining from Edinburgh in the summer of 2023, making 23 appearances during.

Born in Birmingham, Hutchison was schooled in North Berwick and captained Scotland Under-19s. He spent a season with French club Stade Nicois before scoring on his Edinburgh debut against Ulster in 2021.

Playing 21 times for Scotland’s capital club, Hutchison spent the early part of this season at Saracens and was part of the squad which won at Kingston Park in last month’s Gallagher PREM encounter against Newcastle.

He said: “I'm really excited to rejoin Newcastle as part of this new era. I've enjoyed my time at Saracens and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity they have given me during this past five months.
