Elanga following criticism over drop in form against Forest

EDDIE Howe says he has no qualms about Anthony Elanga's erratic drop in form in the space of just two matches this week.

Elanga was electric in Belgium during the 4-0 rout of Union SG as he had a hand in three goals, but he managed just one accurate cross from nine against Nottingham Forest and was replaced with 21 minutes left.

Elanga is in a straight battle with Jacob Murphy for the right wing slot but Howe is not overly concerned, despite some harsh social media reviews on the Sweden international.

Elanga, who has just one assist and no goals since his £55m move from Forest, is still getting into the swing of life on Tyneside.
