SUNDERLAND could be without 10 senior players as they head to Port Vale for Sunday's FA Cup fifth round tie.
Their injury issues worsened on Tuesday as they beat Leeds United at Elland Road.
Head coach Régis Le Bris will have to juggle his pack again against a Port Vale team struggling at the foot of League One, 10 points adrift of safety, but who beat Championship side Bristol City 1-0 thanks to an extra-time goal.
With Robin Roefs ruled out ahead of the Leeds game with a hamstring injury, Le Bris said the goalkeeper will be absent for two to three weeks.
Sunderland are hopeful he'll be back in time to face Newcastle United in the Tyne-Wear derby later this month, but Melker Ellborg will continue between the sticks at Vale Park.
