Black Cats have been 'punching above weight so far'

WILSON Isidor insisted Sunderland have punched above their weight this season and declared: "It’s important to remember how brilliant this season has been."

The out-of-form striker has failed to score in nine appearances since notching in the 2-1 defeat to Leeds United on February 17.

His dip in output has been noticeable but also coincided with Enzo Le Fee’s injury which left the playmaker sidelined.

Isidor has had chances but hasn't taken them, but he remains upbeat and Sunderland will need him to return to some sort of form for the forthcoming play-offs.

"We want to keep our standards high, keep performing, and make sure we're ready when it matters most."
