Battle is on for Roma star Ndicka

NEWCASTLE United face a transfer battle to land reported target Evan Ndicka after AS Roma reportedly made the centre-back available for just €35m.

The Magpies have cast their net extensively when it comes to their summer transfer targets, with a centre-back near the top of Eddie Howe's wishlist.

United have monitored Ivory Coast stopper Ndicka for some time, with interest while he was at Eintracht Frankfurt. He helped win the Europa League while in Germany, but moved to Italy with Roma in 2023.
