Computer manufacturer takes customisability to a whole new level

- JUSTIN CONNOLLY

“COMPUTERS shouldn't be boring” So say the makers of decidedly not boring computers, Framework.

This week it revealed an achievement that has been long-promised by the industry, and long-longed for by computer users - especially gamers.

It has made a high-end laptop that has an easily upgradable graphics card. This may not sound like much - desktops have been upgradable forever - but for a computer that you can take with you anywhere, it’s unprecedented, and was very well received.

The computer in question is the Framework Laptop 16 - the best of the three laptops the company offers, and one that is already almost two years old.
