Temporary traffic lights will remain in place on a busy Ayrshire road until the end of May as pavement resurfacing continues.

Motorists in Kilwinning are being warned to expect disruption as the works continue on the A737 Dalry Road, at McGavin Park.

Amey, the trunk road operator, have been on site since February and this week updated road users on the work progress.

"Essential"works to resurface the pavements on the A737 are being carried out daily between 6am and 6pm.
