Ava's mission: Beauty queen spreads message of community and giving back

An Ayrshire beauty queen is launching the historic search for the region’s next pageant stars.

Ava Morgan, who was crowned last year’s Miss Great Britain, will spearhead the hunt for glamorous girls across the county.

A Miss Great Britain Ayrshire heat will bring one of the UK’s most iconic competitions to Scotland in what organisers say is a celebration of “confidence, community and empowerment.”

Applications are now open for the Miss Great Britain Ayrshire (ages 18-30), Ms Great Britain Ayrshire (ages 31-45) and the first-ever Scottish heat for Ms Great Britain Classic, for women aged 45 and over.

The glittering regional final will take place at Troon Concert Hall on Saturday, June 27, 2026, marking a major milestone for Scotland’s pageant scene.

The event will be held in partnership with local sponsors, Haus of Dentistry, EssJay Electrical Services, Unbridaled and SLS Aesthetics.
