Takeaway beefed up my Friday lunchtime

NEW takeaways pop up and disappear with alarming regularity and so it pays to have a memorable name.

Huddersfield town centre already has The Ladz diner, Harrogate used to have The Disappearing Chin and in Northallerton you can enjoy a beer in Tickle Toby Inn.

In John William Street, in Huddersfield town centre, you can find You Want Beef? which is where I popped in to grab a quick bite to eat on Friday afternoon.

I am not fully up to speed with “street” talk but I understand that “you want beef?” is not a question you want to go around saying to all and sundry.
