FURIOUS CUSTOMERS SAY PACKAGES ARE 'DUMPED' AND DAMAGED
PARCELS being “launched with violence” over fences and left “damaged and undelivered” are among the complaints about “circus” delivery services in the run-up to Christmas across Huddersfield.
Delivery service Evri has apologised for the quality of their delivery, including “dumping a village’s worth” of parcels in one location and “lobbing” a parcel over a 6ft fence, stating they have a “zero-tolerance policy” towards such behaviour. The first complaint came from an upset resident in Lepton, Huddersfield, concerned that multiple parcels had “just been dumped on the dirt track” outside of a neighbour's house, with parcels for numerous others “not even close” to the same address.
