Concerns raised over flats plan at old pub site

A FORMER pub has been earmarked for new housing but several objections have been raised.

An application to convert the Butchers Arms on Halifax Road in Staincliffe into eight flats is awaiting a decision from Kirklees Council. According to planning documents, the building stopped being used as a pub in June of last year.
