A YORKSHIRE community group providing clothes and school uniforms to vulnerable children has won £2,000 from the Pride of Britain fund.

This marks the 25th year of the Pride of Britain awards, which were founded by The Mirror, with grants totalling more than £100,000 given out across the country. With more than 2,000 applications, the Fund shortlisted these before allowed communities to vote on which projects in their area were most deserving of the funding.
