BMW driver left a mum unable to work

A WOMAN was left with life-changing injuries after a selfish uninsured BMW driver ploughed into her parked car during a police chase.

Ahjay Hussain, 31, of Halifax, smashed into the parked up Toyota Yaris the woman was driving, leaving her with a catalogue of injuries including a bleed on the brain, fractures to her spine, a partially collapsed lung, rib fractures and a deep wound to her thigh.

The ‘hit and run’ driver then fled the scene - but not before leaving his DNA in blood-staining on an airbag.

Bradford Crown Court heard on Friday that a West Yorkshire Police patrol first spotted Hussain, of Freeman Road, Southowram, driving at excessive speed in Moor End Road, Pellon, in February.
