A TAVISTOCK riverside restaurant is set to offer modern Devon comfort food under new ownership and a revamped menu.
Eastgate Cafe and Brasserie, which has been taken over by chef Mike Palmer, is also now open for dinner reservations on on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The dinner menu will feature highlights such as locally-sourced rump steak from Moorland Meats, served with Cafe de Paris butter and chimichurri, and a fish stew made with local seafood from Kingfisher of Brixham.
