THE family of a Plymouth mum described as a “rebel with a heart of gold” have paid heartfelt tributes to her after an inquest into her death.

Sascha Martine Bennett passed away on September 24, 2023, just three weeks after seeing the man who nearly killed her sent to jail for 22 years.

Sandra Johnson, Sascha’s mum, said her family miss Sascha “so much” and have shared how she would have done anything for anyone in need. “She was so good to everybody,” she said.

“Sascha had a massive heart and sometimes people took advantage of her. She would give you her last penny. She would help anyone?”
