'THANK YOU' OFFER ALSO MARKS THIRD ANNIVERSARY

AN award-winning Plymouth restaurant has slashed prices as a thank you gesture to loyal customers who have led it to success at a time when the hospitality industry is generally struggling.

The eye-catching Indian Rose eatery, in Mutley Plain, has sliced 15% off the food bill for customers who call in midweek during the first half of July.

The restaurant, run by husband and wife Tony and Dolly Ubayda, said the offer, which started this week, is to reward customers for their continued support and is also to mark the restaurant’s third anniversary.

Mr Ubayda said: “Times are hard, businesses are struggling, but we are still here, and doing well, and that is thanks to the customers.

“So, we would like to give a 15% discount to customers for dining in. This will be for two weeks from July 1, during the week but not Fridays or Saturdays, and on meals only.

“It’s a good offer and we think we are the first to do it. It is to thank our loyal customers who have supported us for three years.”
