Tavi's Lambs are shear class

TAVISTOCK'S new assistant manager Darren Spong admitted he watched and admired the fantastic football being played as the Lambs turned in a highly impressive performance in beating Exeter City's Under-18 side on Wednesday night.

The Lambs were 3-1 winners at Langsford Park but, in truth, it could - and should have been so much more such was the Lambs' dominance as they created chance after chance against a City side that had beaten Tavi in the semi-finals of the St Luke's Devon Cup last season.

Liam Prynn struck twice, once in each half, while Ben Fowles added a third, finishing off after a brilliant team move that had had Spong delighted.

"It was very, very good attacking wise - we had so many chances to score a lot more goals than we did," Spong said. "But the pleasing thing was how we created them, the movement between our front three, our full-backs getting forward, midfielders timing their runs into the box there was some really, really good attacking play that we followed on from Sunday really.
