A SERIAL fly-tipper has been jailed after dumping fridges, furniture, building materials and household waste at multiple locations around South East Cornwall.
Kirk Robert Bignell, 50 and of Lanreath, near Looe, appeared at Truro Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday, January 14.
He pleaded guilty to seven charges of depositing controlled waste on land without consent under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
With Bignell already under a suspended sentence for benefit fraud, Judge Simon Carr sentenced him to 12 months in prison for depositing controlled waste on land without consent.
He also activated Bignell's previously suspended sentence, ordering him to serve an additional two months in prison.
