DOUBLE TROUBLE FOR A FIRST TIME DAD OF TWINS
-
“Assumptions are made, and most assumptions are wrong,” said Albert Einstein, a man we know as being rather clever.
Unfortunately, they're all we have prior to having children because it’s impossible to predict the future, so we assume certain things to help our brains come to terms with a new reality.
Eight years as a father later I've been thinking about a few of those thoughts, and realise how wrong I was.
The first is my initial fear about the terrifying costs of children, and yes, they're not cheap, but no more than monthly payments on a mid-range electric car.
At this point, I should say, “and I know what I'd rather have,” but some days, I'd take the Tesla.
