Pilgrims carry out the perfect plan to see off Coventry

HERE are the player ratings of Herald Sport's Argyle reporter Chris Errington from the Pilgrims' 3-1 Championship win against Coventry City at Home Park.

Conor Hazard 6 - This was one of Hazard’s quietest games of the season in terms of the number of saves he had to make. Coventry had only three shots on target all game and two of them came when the Argyle goalkeeper pushed away a header from Ellis Simms.

Victor Palsson 8 - The experienced Iceland international is a player transformed under Miron Muslic and, not for the first time recently, the fans sang their appreciation for Palsson during this game.

Nikola Katic 8 - An excellent return to action after missing the previous two matches due to a hamstring injury. It was good to see how keen Katic was to play against Coventry, and the determination he showed during the game, when he is so close to the end of a short-term loan to Argyle from swiss club FC Zurich.

Julio Pleguezuelo 8 - The Spaniard was back out on the pitch for Argyle and performing to the high standard which we have seen from him lately, and out of position on the left of the central defensive trio remember, rather than on the right.
