HE MADE INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN

A MAN who admitted making indecent images of children has been made subject of a number of conditions relating to his use of computers and the internet to prevent him from re-offending.

Steven Barber, aged 47, and of Colwill Road, Plymouth, appeared at Plymouth Magistrates' Court on September 25, where he was sentenced after pleading guilty in July to three counts of making indecent images of children.

The court was told that on or before November 28, 2024 he made made three still Category C indecent images of children. In addition on the same date he made 13 still and five moving Category A - the most serious - indecent images of children, and 10 still Category B indecent images of children.

Magistrates handed Barber a prison sentence of 28 weeks, suspending it for 18 months. He was ordered to take part in a rehabilitation activity for up to 20 days.
