ARGYLE BOSS HAS A FANTA-STIC EXPERIENCE WITH GUARDIOLA

- CHRIS ERRINGTON

MUSLIC'S PEP TALK

MIRON Muslic has revealed how Pep Guardiola arranged for a Fanta drink to be waiting for him when the pair met up after Plymouth Argyle's Emirates FA Cup fifth round defeat against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Muslic and his backroom staff of Adin Osmanbasic, Kevin Nancekivell, Eddie Lattimore and Darryl Flahavan spent around 45 minutes with Guardiola in his office after the Pilgrims put up a brave fight before eventually losing 3-1.

The Pilgrims' boss had spoken after his side's shock 1-0 FA Cup fourth round win against Liverpool at Home Park about how he would celebrate by eating some nachos and drinking a Fanta in his apartment.

Muslic was hugely complimentary about Guardiola before the FA Cup clash as he called him 'a giant in our sport' and 'a huge role model for every single coach in the world'.
