AFTER a record-breaking four-year run at the West End, Only Fools and Horses: The Musical is coming to Theatre Royal Plymouth.

- By JOE HEARN

The musical, based on John Sullivan’s legendary television show, was written by his son Jim Sullivan and comedian Paul Whitehouse.

Taking on the famous roles are Sam Lupton as the loveable cockney Del Boy Trotter, and Tom Major, who plays his naive younger brother Rodney.

“It’s got everything you know and love from the show, all the characters and all the iconic moments,’ said Tom. “There's something for everyone, and with comedy being so universal, it appeals to younger audiences or those who haven't even seen the show.

“Me and Sam often laugh at each other because we'll be performing and we'll see a child in the front row dressed up ina full Del Boy costume.

“It clearly shows the proofis in the pudding and a true testament to the brilliant writing that continues to resonate with audiences of all ages.”
