China's 84% revenge

CHINA has raised tariffs to 84% on goods coming from the United States in a new counter-measure.

Last week, Beijing had said it would levy 34% tariffs on all US goods. Yesterday, US President Donald Trump's tariffs of 104% came into effect on Chinese exports to the US.
China's ministry of commerce wrote in a statement introducing its white paper on trade with America: "If the US insists on further escalating its economic and trade restrictions, China has the firm will and abundant means to take necessary counter-measures and fight to the end."
