Children shine bright for road safety

PUPILS at a Saltash school have taken a colourful step forward in raising awareness about road safety. Brunel Primary and Nursery Academy's "Be Bright, Be Seen" initiative was part of this year's Road Safety Week.

Embracing the theme, children walked to school wearing high-visibility clothing, neon accessories and reflective gear to highlight the importance of staying visible to motorists during the darker autumn and winter months. To launch the campaign, the school partnered with Ashlea Dodsworth from South East Cornwall Active Travel, who delivered an interactive assembly.
